Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 28, 2026
Draft for review. This is a starting-point policy pending review by counsel and completion of OpsMargin’s legal entity details.

1. Who we are

OpsMargin (“OpsMargin,” “we,” “us”) provides a margin-recovery analytics platform for multi-unit restaurant operators. Questions about this policy: sales@opsmargin.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers our marketing website at opsmargin.com and the OpsMargin platform. Use of the platform is also governed by the written agreement between OpsMargin and each customer, which controls if there is any conflict.

3. Information we collect

From the website. If you request a demo or contact us, we collect the details you provide, typically your name, work email, company, and message. The website does not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

From the platform (customers). To deliver analytics, the platform processes the business operational data a customer connects, for example point-of-sale sales, labor and scheduling, food cost, and financial figures, along with the accounts of the customer’s authorized users. This is business data, not consumer data, and we do not seek to collect personal information about a customer’s guests.

4. How we use information

We do not sell your data, and we do not use customer operational data to train models for other customers.

5. Where your data lives & security

Customer operational data is processed in an isolated Google Cloud project, optionally the customer’s own Google Cloud account, and is not commingled with other customers’ data. Access is granted on a least-privilege basis. Our primary infrastructure sub-processor is Google Cloud Platform.

6. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the service (such as Google Cloud) under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and for the period set out in the applicable customer agreement, then delete or de-identify it. Customers may request deletion of connected data per their agreement. Website contacts may request deletion by emailing us.

8. Your choices

To access, correct, or delete contact information you’ve provided through the website, email sales@opsmargin.com. Customer data rights are handled through the customer relationship and the applicable agreement.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the current version.
